Letter To Parents

May 31st, 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your support during the lockdown. You have tried your best with home learning.

As it was decided by the government, we are pleased to tell you that we shall be re-opening our school this coming Wednesday, 2nd of June 2021. We know that for some, this will be a relief and for the others a time of anxiety. As this is a pandemic, we understand it is not possible to eliminate all risk, however we will take every possible precaution and continuously review our practice.

It is essential that if your child or a member of your household is displaying symptoms of Covid, they HAVE TO STAY AT HOME and must come into school unless the period of isolation is over or if results are returned to say they were negative. Home learning will be provided if your child is well enough to ensure minimal schooling is missed.

As usual, all children, students, and staff will be asked to wear face masks and try to adhere to social distancing. Children will be expected to wash their hands, on arrival at school and at various points during the school day including before and after breaks. Windows and doors will remain open to ensure good ventilation. Regular cleaning and disinfection will also be made during the week.

We hope that all families will feel comfortable enough to return their children to school and will be reassured by the significant measures that have been undertaken to keep your children as safe as possible.

To end up with, all children and students are expected to return full time and be in school, on time, every day.

Kind regards,

The Board of Trustees
